Description

The AM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Location: 120 Hodsman Road, Regina, Saskatchewan S4N 5X4

Working Hours: 35 Weekly hours (guaranteed)

Scheduled Shift: Sunday night to Friday morning, 23:30 pm -07:15 am (0.75 hours unpaid break)

Employment Contract: Permanent

Hourly Wage- $22.21 as per the collective agreement

Responsibilities

Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery
