Our teams deliver engineering and project execution excellence across the full project lifecycle—from conceptual studies and detailed design to commissioning, optimization, and beyond. This is your opportunity to shape high-impact infrastructure, drive innovation in automation and process control, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams delivering transformative outcomes across Canada and globally. Based in one of our Ontario offices - ideally in Northern Ontario, Greater Toronto Area, or Saskatoon as a Senior I&C Engineer, you will support as a senior subject matter expert in the instrumentation and controls engineering for both new construction and brownfield mining, metals and other heavy industrial projects, influencing project outcomes from concept through completion. Your work will help our clients operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $114,600 - $151,800
MB & ON: $104,500 - $143,900

Your Impact
- Lead the design and delivery of instrumentation and control systems for mining and heavy industrial facilities
- Oversee control philosophy, system architecture, and functional specifications for complex process systems
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams to ensure fully integrated project solutions
- Drive innovation by applying advanced automation, digitalization, and control technologies
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality reviews for project teams
- Support project execution through all phases—from concept to commissioning and operational optimization
- Engage with clients to understand operational needs and deliver tailored, high-value engineering solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards across all deliverables
The Skills That Set You Apart
- At least 12+ years of electrical engineering design experience supporting heavy industrial facilities.
- Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility in Canada
- Extensive experience delivering instrumentation and controls engineering within mining or heavy industrial sectors
- Strong expertise in PLC, DCS, SCADA systems, and process automation platforms
- Proven ability to develop control narratives, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and I/O lists
- Experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and operational support in industrial environments
- Strong understanding of safety systems, hazardous area classification, and applicable codes and standards
- Ability to lead complex projects and mentor junior staff while maintaining high technical excellence
