Step into a Civil Engineering role where your technical expertise helps shape the communities of Southern Alberta and beyond. Based in our Medicine Hat office, you’ll contribute to impactful municipal infrastructure and land development projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary specialists who share your drive for meaningful, community-focused outcomes.

Your Impact

Apply civil design expertise to deliver integrated municipal infrastructure solutions, including water supply, wastewater collection, stormwater management systems, and transportation corridors, supporting resilient community development.
Prepare detailed engineering deliverables including technical reports, cost estimates, and design documentation.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated and efficient project execution.
Mentor junior engineers and technologists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Engage with clients, municipalities, and regulatory bodies to support project approvals and maintain strong working relationships.
Champion sustainable and forward-thinking engineering approaches that enhance environmental resilience and long-term community safety.

The Skills That Set You Apart

15+ years of progressive engineering experience in municipal infrastructure, water resources, and land development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and registration as a P.Eng. in Alberta.
• Proven experience delivering technically complex projects.
• Strong expertise in technical writing, including design reports, cost estimates, and regulatory documentation.
• Solid understanding of municipal bylaws, development approvals, and regulatory frameworks.
• Willingness to mentor and support the development of junior team members.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills with a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 – $138,000
MB & ON: $95,000 – $130,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $94,100 – $124,900
