Job Description: As a member of the Adult services team and under the general direction of the Manager the primary goal will be to assess, counsel and develop comprehensive recovery and case management plans which will restore, maintain or enhance the recovery of people seeking help for addiction and/or addiction related issues. Responsibilities will include the provision of best practice methodology to assess & screen clients, and to provide individual & group counseling. The position will be expected to provide educational sessions and group therapy in the Day Treatment Program as required. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Experience
- Experience with group therapy and addiction assessments and interventions.
Education
- Bachelor of Chemical Dependency
- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
- A degree acceptable by the employer with relevant experience
Other Education and Training
- Bachelor of Social Work is acceptable
