Pay rate: 41.77$/h, and 51.77$/h after 12 months
Work hours: Sunday to Thursday: 12am - 8:30am (40 hrs/w, 30min unpaid lunch)
Description
The Licensed Tradesperson maintains, diagnoses, tests, and repairs the material handling equipment (MHE) (e.g., conveyors, gear boxes rollers, drive unit, hydraulic and pneumatics systems, etc.) to ensure equipment is operating with minimal downtime in compliance with health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
-Conduct regular preventative / predictive maintenance on material handling equipment (MHE) (e.g., conveyors, gear boxes rollers, drive unit, hydraulic and pneumatics systems, etc.) to maintain equipment in a good state of repair in compliance with health and safety standards
-Diagnose and repair Material Handling Equipment mechanical or electrical failures to ensure equipment is operating with minimal downtime to reduce downstream impact to service delivery
-Inspect and monitor Material Handling Equipment and related facilities
-Prepare and maintain reports (e.g., safety, operational)
-Coordinate and document work orders in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Education
-433A (Licensed Industrial Millwright Certificate) is required, 3+ years experieience.
-442A (Licensed Industrial Electrician Certificate) is an asset to the role.
Experience
3+ years of experience primarily as a Millwright involving the installation, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of Material Handling Equipment.
