Job Description: This position provides psychological assessments and therapy to the family and community for children (ages 0 to 12 years of age) with a range of emotional and behavioral difficulties. The incumbent provides consultation to community agencies, schools and other clinic professionals. She/he leads other members of the team to develop programs and may undertake research relevant to the team and agency goals. The incumbent is a recognized resource for the Child and Youth Program and provides expertise and training to other professionals. The incumbent will provide supervision to interns from the SHR Psychology Residency Program and to University of Saskatchewan practical students. The position requires sound judgment and the incumbent must be able to work with minimal supervision. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Experience

  • five (5) years post-doctoral degree experience in a mental health setting

  • PhD in Clinical Psychology
