Restaurant Brands International Inc. is one of the world's largest quick service restaurant companies with nearly $45 billion in annual system-wide sales and over 32,000 restaurants in more than 120 countries and territories.

RBI owns four of the world's most prominent and iconic quick service restaurant brands – TIM HORTONS®, BURGER KING®, POPEYES®, and FIREHOUSE SUBS®. These independently operated brands have been serving their respective guests, franchisees and communities for decades. Through its Restaurant Brands for Good framework, RBI is improving sustainable outcomes related to its food, the planet, and people and communities.

RBI is committed to growing the TIM HORTONS®, BURGER KING®, POPEYES® and FIREHOUSE SUBS® brands by leveraging their respective core values, employee and franchisee relationships, and long track records of community support. Each brand benefits from the global scale and shared best practices that come from ownership by Restaurant Brands International Inc.

Our Opportunity:

The Sr. Manager, Franchisee Profitability and Development Analytics, APAC is a cross-functional role responsible for two critical areas of RBI's Asia Pacific business: franchisee financial performance and restaurant development analytics. The role owns the regional franchisee profitability and restaurant count growth KPIs, leads analysis of franchisee economics, and partners with RBI field teams to support and accelerate restaurant growth across the region.

The Sr. Manager works closely with the RBI APAC field, supply chain, and operations teams, and franchisee management to drive profitability initiatives, execute development growth strategies, and ensure accurate and timely regional reporting. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities across markets, and comfort working with senior internal and external stakeholders. The Sr. Manager will lead a team of two analysts.

RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week.

Your roles & responsibilities:

Franchisee Profitability

  • Own and be accountable for the Franchise Profitability KPI for the Asia Pacific region, driving performance against targets across all markets.
  • Interact with franchisee finance, supply chain, and operations teams to understand key business challenges and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance.
  • Conduct in-depth restaurant-level profitability analyses to identify improvement opportunities, and lead cross-functional projects with internal and external stakeholders to drive financial performance across markets.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze franchisee financial information from master franchisees and joint venture partners across the Asia Pacific region, ensuring data is of high quality and managed in accordance with RBI's database structure.
  • Develop tools and dashboards for the APAC Leadership Team and field teams to assess and monitor franchisee profitability.
  • Prepare reports and executive presentations for the Leadership Team, providing updates and recommendations on achieving profitability targets.

Development Analytics

  • Own and maintain visibility over the regional restaurant development pipeline, tracking the status and timeline of restaurant openings, closures, and remodel initiatives across the Asia Pacific region.
  • Monitor compliance with franchisee development commitments and provide proactive visibility to senior leadership on potential risks, delays, or deviations from development plans.
  • Partner closely with RBI APAC field teams to identify restaurant growth bottlenecks and develop and execute data-driven recommendations and initiatives to accelerate the pace of growth.
  • Develop insights and intelligence on development strategy to optimize restaurant-level economics and inform growth decisions.
  • Maintain and enhance development tracking tools and databases (e.g., Smartsheets) to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and transparency across the organization.
  • Build dashboards and analytical frameworks that improve monitoring of development execution and support data-driven decision making.

Reporting & Governance

  • Support monthly and quarterly closing activities, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-year figures, and ensure timely consolidation and reporting of APAC results to global finance and development teams at RBI headquarters.

Your skills & experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5–7+ years of experience in finance, strategy, or business analytics, including prior experience in a managerial or senior individual contributor role.
  • Experience in restaurant-level profitability or development analytics in QSR or a comparable multi-unit business environment is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Mandarin or another Asia Pacific language is an advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau, Smartsheets, Onestream, Snowflake, or comparable BI tools, as well as leveraging AI for analysis, is highly valued.
  • Proven ability to manage and influence cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders, including franchisee senior management and internal leadership teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an organized, structured approach to ambiguous and complex analytical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior audiences.
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, high initiative, and a desire to deeply understand the business and drive impact.

Benefits at all of our global offices are focused on physical, mental and financial wellness. We offer unique and progressive benefits, including a comprehensive global paid parental leave program that supports employees as they expand their families, free telemedicine and mental wellness support.
