REPORTS TO: ELCC Family Supports Manager
Brief Overview:
The Métis Nation–Saskatchewan is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to support the objectives of the MN–S and provide essential services as an ELCC Warehouse Worker. Under the direction of the Family Supports Manager, the ELCC Warehouse Worker will be part of a team responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations. The team will work together to fulfill administrative duties, warehouse operations, and pickups and deliveries. This role
plays a key part in ensuring warehouse safety, organization, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
- Communicate via phone/emails, to clarify orders, coordinate pickup and delivery details, answer and address basic inquiries or questions from customers and vendors.
- Process, organize, and maintain all shipment and receiving documentation (bills of lading, invoices, order forms).
- Assist with inventory audits and manage and record inventory levels, reporting discrepancies or shortages to supervisors.
- Perform data entry and prepare reports for inventory, shipping details, supplier invoices, and warehouse records.
- Coordinate communication between warehouse staff, management, and other departments.

- Assist with purchase order and supply tracking.
- Prepare shipping labels, packaging materials, and paperwork for outbound shipments.
- Coordinate office supplies and provide general clerical support to supervisors or managers.
Warehouse Operations:
- Receive, inspect, unload, and store incoming shipments to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment or pick-up according to instructions or customer requests.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety per company and health policies.
- Organize, stock, and rotate inventory on shelves and storage areas for accuracy.
- Prepare shipping labels, packaging materials, and paperwork for outbound shipments.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) if certified; perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
- Manage and record inventory levels, reporting discrepancies or shortages to supervisors.
- Assist with periodic inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Support delivery drivers with loading or unloading vehicles.
- Follow all workplace health and safety guidelines and company policies. Receive, inspect, unload, and store incoming shipments to maintain inventory accuracy.

- Load and unload delivery vehicles for goods scheduled for transport or receipt.
- Drive company vehicles to deliver or pick up goods, supplies, or materials to or from customers, suppliers, or other sites.
- Ensure that transported items comply with safety, quality, and temperature requirements.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation. This includes MN-S Fleet vehicles.
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment or pick-up according to instructions or customer requests.

- Drive company vehicles to deliver or pick up goods, supplies, or materials to or from customers, suppliers, or other sites.
- Ensure that transported items comply with safety, quality, and temperature requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma and/or equivalent education
- Forklift ticket is an asset.
- Two years of warehouse experience is preferred.
Knowledge skills and abilities:
- Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions with attention to detail.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Comfortable with physical tasks including squatting, bending, twisting, and kneeling to perform maintenance and equipment handling duties.
- Familiar with custodial methods, techniques, and materials used in maintaining clean and safe workspaces.
- Able to climb ladders and perform tasks at various heights as needed.
- Experience operating warehouse vehicles, machinery, and equipment safely.
- Skilled in lifting, moving, sorting, and storing materials in a safe and organized manner.
- Competent in maintaining accurate records and managing inventory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration and reporting.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations; able to work safely in environments with moving machinery, dust, fumes, or gases.
- Reliable and adaptable with a strong work ethic and ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
Additional requirements:
- The position is based on a 37.5-hour work week, Monday through Friday, and includes a total rewards package
- Must undergo a Criminal Record Check with the Vulnerable Sector.
