What you’ll be doing

Provide administrative and operational support throughout the underwriting process, including data entry, report ordering, and maintaining policy information within internal systems
Partner with colleagues across the Commercial Underwriting team to ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner
Support service level commitments by consistently meeting quality, accuracy, and productivity expectations
Develop a strong understanding of underwriting guidelines, workflows, and internal processes to complete work with confidence and precision
Assist with general administrative duties and contribute to ad hoc projects and team initiatives as required

What you bring

Strong computer skills, including typing proficiency and comfort navigating multiple systems
High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and collaborative approach
Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow
High school diploma required; post-secondary education is considered an asset
Progress toward a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is an asset
Previous experience in the insurance industry is an asset
