Build strong, transferable administrative and customer service skills while supporting daily operations at the Canadian Red Cross Headquarters in Ottawa
Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Greet visitors and maintain security protocols, including sign-in procedures and access control
Support office operations through mail handling, courier coordination, and supply management
Use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to maintain records and communications
Assist the Facilities Department with administrative tasks and gain exposure to broader organizational functions

What we are looking for:

Completion of secondary school and/or enrollment in a post-secondary program (college or university).
Little to no prior work experience required; relevant work experience coursework or volunteer experience is an asset.
Basic proficiency with standard computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Ability to follow instructions, apply established procedures, and complete tasks with attention to detail.
Willingness to learn, ask questions, and receive feedback.
Clear communication skills for exchanging straightforward information in routine situations.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Bilingual in English and French
