Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our Enterprise Systems team on a full-time basis. This is a broad, cross-functional role supporting teams across Admissions, Alumni, Marketing, Finance, and Business Development - with Salesforce as the connective tissue across all of them.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on Salesforce development experience, a collaborative approach to requirements gathering, and the ability to work fluidly across a wide range of operational stakeholders in a complex, mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Flows, and declarative tools across multiple business units including Admissions, Alumni, Marketing, Finance, and Business Development
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather and translate requirements into scalable Salesforce configurations and custom development
- Support and extend Marketing Cloud integrations, including journeys, automations, and data extensions
- Work within Data Cloud to support data unification, segmentation, and insights across the patient, alumni, and referral partner lifecycle
- Design and maintain API integrations between Salesforce and third-party platforms - including contact center platforms such as Genesys, form tools, marketing systems, and others as the organization's ecosystem evolves
- Manage the full deployment lifecycle from sandbox to production, including change sets, version control, and release management
- Perform ongoing Salesforce administration tasks including user management, permission sets, validation rules, and object configuration
- Partner with the Admissions team to support intake workflows, lead management, and operational reporting
- Partner with the Alumni team to support post-treatment engagement programs and CRM touchpoints
- Support Marketing with campaign tracking, lead capture, and marketing attribution workflows
- Support emerging Salesforce needs across Finance and Business Development as the platform footprint grows
- Contribute to documentation, testing, and quality assurance for all platform changes
- Stay current on Salesforce platform releases and identify opportunities to leverage new capabilities
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex programming
- Hands-on experience with Marketing Cloud and/or Data Cloud
- Experience designing or maintaining API integrations between Salesforce and external systems (contact center platforms, telephony, form tools, or similar)
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and deployment best practices
- Experience with sandbox-to-production deployments and release management processes
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams across varied business domains and gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in healthcare, mental health, addiction treatment, or a similarly regulated sector is a strong asset
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer I, or equivalent) are an asset
- Familiarity with the Canadian healthcare landscape and related privacy considerations (PIPEDA, PHIPA) is an asset
