In this role, you will :

  • Prepare suppliers’ invoices for processing.

  • Process accounts payable invoice batches, including supplier invoices, cheque requisitions, and travel expense claims.

  • Communicate with internal staff and external vendors on queries and resolve problems relating to invoices or payments.

  • Collect backup documentation for transactions as requested by internal staff or auditors.

  • Support other Red Cross initiatives, as needed, to ensure a coordinated team effort in order to meet the needs of the most vulnerable in the community.


What we are looking for :

  • At least a secondary school diploma with one to two years of post-secondary education in business administration, finance or a related field, and two years of finance or accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong communication skills in English & French.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset.

  • Demonstrated computer skills of MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment in order to meet deadlines.

  • Professionalism and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team and build positive internal and external relationships.

  • Attention to detail and proven ability to problem solve as required.
