In this role, you will :

Prepare suppliers’ invoices for processing.
Process accounts payable invoice batches, including supplier invoices, cheque requisitions, and travel expense claims.
Communicate with internal staff and external vendors on queries and resolve problems relating to invoices or payments.
Collect backup documentation for transactions as requested by internal staff or auditors.
Support other Red Cross initiatives, as needed, to ensure a coordinated team effort in order to meet the needs of the most vulnerable in the community.

What we are looking for :

At least a secondary school diploma with one to two years of post-secondary education in business administration, finance or a related field, and two years of finance or accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong communication skills in English & French.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset.
Demonstrated computer skills of MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent customer service and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment in order to meet deadlines.
Professionalism and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team and build positive internal and external relationships.
Attention to detail and proven ability to problem solve as required.
