As the Allocation Analyst, you will contribute to Laura’s success by managing and allocating the merchandise to stores for a division/category. Using the merchandising system and various software technologies, the Allocation Analyst will ensure optimum inventory levels in stores to maximize sales and margins. How will you support the team? Determine the ideal merchandise profile in order to meet the financial objectives of the company. Review and analyze weekly store performance/inventory levels; and actions on finding in order to maximize opportunities. Develop analysis tools in partnership with other departments to ensure store needs are fulfilled and all processes are efficient. Allocate new arrivals based on the assortment plans, sales trends and store needs. Review styles performance on a weekly basis and reacts as needed. Replenish sold goods through our replenishment and inventory balancing systems. Review transfer opportunities for in season products and executes accordingly in a timely and cost-efficient manner taking into consideration store capacity and sale needs. Collaborate with Planning and Buying for repeat order quantities and size runs based on styles and store performance. Collaborate regularly with buying to review assortment strategies for upcoming collections. Attend monthly meetings with Allocation Manager to review current and upcoming strategies that evolve as the business needs shift. The people who thrive with us have: Bachelor’s degree in business administration / commerce or other related specialty is an asset. Experience in retail, an asset.
