Your impact starts here. Based in Red Deer, this opportunity sits within WSP’s Municipal Engineering and Land Development Group, where you will play a key role in shaping infrastructure that supports growing communities across Central Alberta. As a Project Manager, you will lead meaningful municipal projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver solutions that make a lasting difference.
Your Impact
- Deliver municipal engineering and land development projects that strengthen communities and enhance infrastructure resilience across Central Alberta.
- Manage the planning, design, and execution of water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway systems from concept through construction.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, practical, and sustainable solutions.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships with municipalities and public‑sector partners.
- Mentor and support emerging professionals, contributing to the growth of future municipal engineering talent.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, risk, and communications to ensure successful delivery.
- Contribute to proposals and bids that help secure impactful municipal projects in the region.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Licensee in Engineering (P.L.(Eng.)) designation registered in Alberta.
- Approximately 5+ years of experience delivering municipal infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience in watermain, sanitary sewer, stormwater, and roadway design.
- Strong understanding of construction administration and municipal project delivery processes.
- Working knowledge of Alberta environmental standards, regulations, and approval processes.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to engage with municipal clients throughout Central Alberta.
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for improving communities through infrastructure.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 – $138,000
MB & ON: $95,000 – $130,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $94,100 – $124,900
