  • Define and manage interfaces through Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Interface Definition Documents (IDDs), and traceability artifacts.
  • Drive interface management, verification, and validation activities aligned with progressive design‑build milestones.
  • Facilitate technical workshops and interface resolution sessions with designers, contractors, vendors, operators, and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with system requirements, industry standards, and client expectations through robust traceability and governance.
  • Engage directly with clients to resolve technical issues and align expectations.
  • Mentor junior engineers and specialists, fostering technical excellence and collaborative delivery.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Registered as a licensed P.Eng. in Canada.
  • INCOSE Certification such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP would be an asset.
  • 15+ years of experience in transit, rail, or other safety‑critical engineering environments.

  • Hands‑on experience with systems integration for complex rail or transit projects.
  • Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 15288, EN 50126, RAMS, and system safety certification processes.
  • Knowledge of CENELEC standards and Metrolinx Schedule 29 is an asset
