  • Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to support planning decisions.

Management Reporting

  • Provide clear commentary on results, trends, and drivers of performance.
  • Support continuous improvement of reporting tools and outputs.

Financial Reporting & Controls

  • Contribute to the month-end and quarter-end close process, including:
    • Preparing and reviewing journal entries.
    • Performing account reconciliations and variance analysis.
    • Supporting timely and accurate close deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the overseas shared services center to coordinate close activities, review deliverables for accuracy and completeness, and resolve issues on a timely basis.
  • Assist with analysis of financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness of reported information.
  • Support external audit processes, including preparation of working papers and coordination of audit requests.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting policies, processes, and internal controls.
  • Assist in establishing robust financial reporting processes in preparation for operations.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • CPA designation.
  • 4–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or financial analysis, preferably in Oil & Gas, Mining, Construction, or Utilities.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Exposure to IFRS reporting and audit processes.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) is an asset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with non-finance stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.
