Job Description:

Role Summary

The objective of the role is to support the entire product development process and provide technical support on life & savings products, which involved a full product development cycle (e.g. research on market trends/clients needs, product innovation, product design, product implementation, product management, and product promotion).

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitor movements, and client segments to identify business opportunities and support product positioning.
  • Assist in product design and enhancement initiatives based on research insights and business needs, with focus on Life & Savings product propositions.
  • Support delivery of product development initiatives by coordinating tasks, monitoring timelines, and ensuring adherence to product development governance and guidelines.
  • Prepare product-related materials (e.g. product specs, comparison, sales materials), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality of deliverables.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support implementation and alignment across product initiatives.
  • Contribute to projects such as regulatory changes, system enhancement, and business initiatives by providing product-related inputs and analysis.
  • Assist in preparing product-related communication and support materials for distribution channels, including product features, positioning, and key selling points.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree holder
  • At least 4 - 6 years’ relevant life insurance experience in product development and management.
  • Possess good understanding of the insurance products, clients’ needs, sales process and industry development in HK. Knowledge of mainland market would be a plus.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese, English and Mandarin
