Customer Solutions

You are a business growth strategist and enterprise operator with a sharp instinct for data‑driven problem solving and a relentless focus on scaling customer acquisition. You deeply understand customer behavior and consistently translate growth ambition into measurable, commercial outcomes. You craft clear, persuasive, insight‑led business cases and executive‑ready narratives that mobilize cross‑functional leaders and unlock decisions across the enterprise. You distill complexity into a single, coherent point of view, particularly when the path forward is ambiguous.

Most importantly, you thrive in a high‑bar, problem‑solving culture, working alongside smart, collaborative leaders to build differentiated, scalable solutions that grow and engage priority segments across BMO’s footprint.

This role is accountable for setting the strategy and owning end‑to‑end execution of priority segment (Youth – Kids & Teens) to drive accelerated market‑share growth and brand affinity. The successful candidate will drive differentiated value propositions, scalable partnerships, and an affiliate ecosystem to support sustained acquisition and engagement.

Typical day might include the following:

  • Develop compelling value propositions for the segment, keeping customer needs, competitive landscape, and profitability in mind
  • Identify and develop compelling strategic partnerships to help grow the priority segment portfolio and support customers with relevant and impactful value additions
  • Develop comprehensive, sharp and impactful strategies/pitches to seamlessly impact and influence cross functional leaders to help achieve the vision
  • Lead key and complex initiatives to grow the segments including awareness, consideration and purchase
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of Go-to-Market strategies and major initiatives and drive continued innovation in evolving our offerings and best position BMO to win vs. competitor segments.
  • Partner with Marketing and Customer analytics, to analyze business and marketing data to identify key drivers, mechanics, and associated dependencies for driving conversion, product adoption, retention, and cross-sell
  • Cultivate and build relationships with internal cross functional partners/leaders and external partners to successfully and sustainably grow the Youth and Student portfolio
  • Make BMO the bank of choice for youth and students and enhance the journey
  • Identify emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

You have:

  • 5+ years relevant Strategy, Consulting and/or Product Management roles in banking or Customer focused industries
  • Experience in banking industry is an asset
  • Experience in developing and executing customer focused strategies and value propositions, particularly those that require co-ordination and project management across the organization with multiple key stakeholders
  • Experience with customer segmentation, customer intelligence and market research
  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to analyze issues, consolidate learning to develop strategies, and deploy tactics
  • Ability to impact, influence and lead diverse and cross functional groups; experienced change agent

Who you are

  • A builder‑operator, not a coordinator.
  • Credible with impact and influence; equally effective deep in execution.
  • Data‑driven, customer‑obsessed, and commercially sharp.
  • Manages multiple complex programs simultaneously and resolves competing priorities.
