We’re looking for a Translator to join our Linguistic Services team at our Montreal Refinery, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring clear, high-quality communication across the organization. If you’re passionate about language, quality, and collaboration, this is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work in a dynamic environment. This is a temporary one-year position.

Minimum requirements:

Minimum 2 years of relevant translation experience
Bachelor’s degree in Translation (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Member of OTTIAQ, an asset

Responsibilities:

Translate a variety of documents (finances, retail, marketing, human resources, etc.) from English to French using Trados
Revise and proofread French texts

Communicate with the requester, if required, to get some precisions on the mandate or the deadlines

Manage and assign translation/revision requests using the translation management system

Location and other details:

This is an office-based role. You will work at our Montréal refinery, located at 11701 Sherbrooke Street East
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
Our professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based on years of experience and scope of work
