The Associate Director, Risk Management is responsible for support the mandate for demonstrated strong risk governance and oversight through the appropriate design, implementation and/or execution of the Enterprise Risk Management framework for the business.
The role will work to ensure a consistent and integrated approach is applied to risk reporting while ensuring the risks of the major business segments are well covered.

Position Responsibilities:
- Second line of defense Corrective Action Plan (CAP) closure review and motoring
- Work with End User Computing Solutions (EUCS) owner to perform annual review on EUCS file
- Work closely with cross-functions to implement ORM/ERM initiative to be complied with local, regional and group requirement.
- Coordinate with other functions on incident reporting and monitoring. Ensure proper and timely registration in Archer system. Work closely with risk owners to identify root causes, propose risk mitigation control measures.
- Work with regional team to provide the review on Process Criticality Inherent Risk Assessment (PCIRA) result made by process owner in Archer system
- Perform the review on Operational Risk Assessment (ORA) on new product
- Perform independent review and oversight on Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA) output, with update status on RCSA to regional team
- Provide independent review and oversight on new projects to comply with Change Risk Standard (CRS)
- Be responsible for Quarterly Risk Reporting
Position Responsibilities:
- 6 to 10 years’ work experience in Risk Management/Internal Audit/related areas, with 3-5 years in Risk Management
- Experience in financial institutions is preferred, insurance industry is a plus
- Bachelor of Business/Finance/Economic or another related field
- Understanding controls, audit and risk management
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to present to and work with all levels of management
- Excellent organization and planning abilities
- Proven ability to quickly and easily adapt to changes within the business and organization
- Able to explain and bring business specific context to key risk management principles
- Ability to Identify the big picture of interrelationships and dependencies
- Ability to balance competing demands with little management direction/support
- Effective communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills
